What Android phone do I need?
Any Android phone with version 8.0 or higher. It can be an old spare phone — it doesn't need to be high-end. Just keep it plugged in and connected to Wi-Fi.
Will WhatsApp ban my number?
SmsGateway24 connects to your existing WhatsApp account via Android — the same way you use it manually. As long as you send relevant messages to real contacts, the risk is the same as normal usage. Avoid cold-spam.
Does it work in my country?
Yes. SMS is sent through your own SIM card — so it works wherever your mobile operator has coverage. There are no geographic restrictions from our side.
How many SMS can I send per month?
Unlimited from our platform side. The actual limit depends on your mobile operator's tariff and the phone's sending speed (typically 500–3,000 SMS/day per device). Add more devices for higher volume.
Can multiple team members use one account?
Yes. All team members log into the same workspace and can see and reply to incoming chats. You can assign conversations, use shared templates and track who replied.
What happens if my phone is turned off?
Messages will not be sent while the phone is offline. We recommend keeping the gateway phone plugged in 24/7 with Wi-Fi and a mobile data connection as a backup.
